This article wasn’t written by me, it was written by Chuck Wendig but I really wanted to share it with all of you because most of you are writers, want to be writers or know writers. So I thought I would share this blog post with all of you to read, learn and enjoy:
He has some pretty great points doesn’t he? He is spot on about a few other things too.
What did you think about the article? Do you agree with anything he has to say?
So once again Penguin Teen has come up with a fantastic list of books to get your days hot and steamy with a list of 15 romance books to enjoy.
I love this list, except for the fact that it has added a couple more books to my tbr pile.
Have you read any of these books? Have you heard of any of these books?
I have heard of a few of these books but I haven’t seen many of them at the shops, which I hope gets rectified, because I want to buy some of these books.
Do you like romance books?
You know how I try and bring you guys all the latest and coolest things and information about books, well this week I am bringing you a list of 15 things each and every single one of us have done at some point in our booknerd life.
Check this out:
If you look through this list and don’t see anything you have done – What Have You Been Doing!?!
I have done pretty much every single thing listed on this list. I mean how can you not really?
Have you partaken in any of this booknerd mannerisms before?
I didn’t know this but April is Sexual Assault awareness month. What I did know was that there are many young adult books that have the theme of sexual assault in them. The act, the consequences and the emotions tied to it.
Penguin Teen has put a list of 7 books that they think you should read this month about Sexual Assault.
Here is that list:
I haven’t read any of these book and from looking at their covers they don’t portray the message that the book is about that theme, but I guess that might be the point.
Have you guys read any of these books or know of any other young adult books out there that focus on sexual assault?
Penguin Teen has come up with a list of 15 books that are coming out, that they can’t wait to read. Well guys here is that list:
I have already read one of these books The One Memory of Flora Banks and I really can’t wait to read the rest of them.
Look at how amazing the covers for all of these books are! The covers for young adult books are getting better and better I tell you.
Which books on this list do you want to read?
So it’s been a long few weeks, so I thought I would share with you all a great Buzzfeed article I found about booknerds and jokes:
I’m going to be honest with you and tell you that most of these jokes went straight over my head, but I’m not that versed in many classic books. I hope you have a better go at understanding these jokes.
This article by the Guardian came up on my Facebook feed a few days ago. It is really interesting and it says a lot of things that make a lot of sense. Have a read of it if you are a reader or know people who should be reading more:
One of the things this article states is that people who read, we live for 2 whole years longer than people who don’t read. Well there are a lot of people I know who don’t read, so it’s comforting to know I might live longer than them in the end.
So the more you read, the longer you will get to read. How cool is that? Well that’s if the research is true and right.
